Hi Ya'll, I'm Leah!
Born and raised in North Carolina with sweet tea and sarcasm in spades, I came to Northern Michigan for college and have considered The Great Lakes State my true home ever since—though I’ll never give up either.
I’m a boy mom times three (two human, one dog), so chaos is a daily guest in our house. Between Cole’s wild streak, Jackson’s budding science experiments, and Waylon (our half-dog, half-Wookiee) eating socks, life keeps me laughing—and on my toes. Parenthood is messy, hilarious, and the best thing I’ve ever done.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me in my garden on a summer evening, listening to the boys’ laughter float across the yard while I plant, water, or dig in the dirt. I’m also a lover of the classics—vintage TV, old movies, classic cars, and your grandpa’s country music. Call me an old soul with a modern sense of humor and a very large meme collection.
But photography is my true love. Lifestyle photography, in particular, feeds my soul—it’s about capturing the real, raw, and beautiful moments of life: the love, the silliness, even the bittersweet. I believe God infused each of us with beauty, and it’s my honor to magnify that beauty in your story.
